A trustworthy device specification should be measurable and relevant to the dose reaching the user.

Irradiance is power per area. Fluence is energy per area over time. Marketing often quotes peak power, LED count or an unverified meter reading instead.

Look for wavelength distribution.
Ask how irradiance was measured and at what distance.
Check treatment area and timer.
Treat testimonials as marketing, not outcome evidence.
