Professional bodies recognise uses such as decompression sickness, carbon monoxide poisoning, selected problem wounds and radiation tissue injury. Exact indications and commissioning differ by country.

Why diagnosis matters

Pressure, oxygen exposure and number of sessions are selected for a condition under medical supervision. A chamber visit sold for wellness is not equivalent.
